Mist still lies over the meadows. The trees appear as soft silhouettes, and the landscape fades away behind the natural pool. Everything feels hushed, the colours delicate.
A short while later the view opens up: blue sky, green meadows and yellow autumn leaves in the sunlight. In early November the sun is already low, drawing long shadows across the garden.
Our guests captured these two moments on 5 November from the terrace of the Eisvogel holiday apartment. The same view, the same morning – and two very different moods.
Simply stay seated and watch
Sometimes it is worth staying in the same place for a while. Where mist has just veiled the rows of trees, the outlines gradually become visible. The view reaches to the horizon again, and sunlight makes the last leaves glow.
From the Eisvogel terrace, the view stretches beyond the natural pool into the open countryside. On a clear November day, a little break needs very little: a warm jacket, a cup of coffee and time to sit outside.
A touch of autumn still lingers between the trees. Some wear yellow leaves, others already show their bare branches. The sky is reflected in the water. It is worth looking a moment longer.
November outside, warmth inside
A walk while the sun is shining. Then back into the loft to warm up, read or cook together. Perhaps the day ends with a sauna session.
A November holiday in Brandenburg can do without a full programme. The shorter days leave room for long breakfasts and afternoons with nothing that needs doing. And sometimes the whole scenery changes just by looking outside.
